By winning the 5th place spot in the consolation tournament in 2006, Keith won the honor of picking his draft order spot for this year. He picked spot #2.
Selection process:
Kevin puts the names of 11 people to Random List Generator on random.org.
Simultaneously, Eric has the Integer generator pick a number from 1 to 11.
Information is shared between the two parties, including the random.org timestamp, at the same time via email to ensure email timestamps are also in place and that one person can not adjust the names or numbers to their personal benefit.
With the number selected by Eric, the person in that random position from Kevin's random list drafts that number down from spot #2. Only "open" spots that are remaining are used for this count. For example, if the first number Eric draws is 10 and the 10th person on Kevin's list is Ralph, Ralph will be giving the 12th spot in the draft.
Kevin then deletes the previously choosen name from his list, and the process is repeated, only this time Eric generates a number from 1-10, and we count down that number from the last person entered, and that person drafts there. Etc. etc.
