For 2005, the following changes were made from the 2004 season:
In a landslide victory, we now have a flex position with 10 yes votes vs. 1 no vote. Of the yes votes, 7 went for option a, which means we'll now have the following roster positions:
1 QB
2 RB
1 RB/WR
2 WR
1 TE
1 K
1 DEF
In our closest voting topic (7 for yes, 4 for no), we will now have a $1 player moves fee. Your first 15 are free, as only 1 person wanted option a. Yahoo keeps track of number of transactions made during a season, so this should be pretty easy to determine who owes what. The additional money will go into the prize pool, which is paid out on a % basis.
With 8 yes votes and 3 no votes, 4th place no longer gets the big zilch. Guess it will be worth something to make the playoffs this year. Not having your name on the trophy by ending up 4th should be punishment enough. The prize payouts will be:
1st place 55%
2nd place 25%
3rd place 15%
4th place 5%
5th place = choice

Added during mid season:
The Pinecrest League 'manually tracked' first annual Toilet Bowl Tournament is now in place! Brackets will be posted to the boards along with scoring results. Winner of the toilet bowl will receive a bonus of 5 free player trades/moves for the next season. So, they'd get 20 free instead of 15. Heck, they need all the help they can get.
